Bruce Bump, MS ~ The Ming Dagger

Many thanks guys for posting comments.
This one is on the boat to China. I worked through an interpreter and had allot of communications with him especially with the ivory he wanted. My client wanted pre-ban but I couldn't do that and almost lost the deal after a week of back and forth. This nearly white mammoth saved the day. There was nothing easy except the steel in this one.

Thanks Mark Knapp for helping me out with laws on export/import to china. You really know your business.

Yes, 'Functional Art' in the highest degree. Bruce that Dagger could earn you another MS rating ;)

Bruce, you know I've watched your work for years, and have seen some amazing things come out of your shop... But what Kevin said!:eek::eek: Isn't there another level above Master Smith????? :D:thumbup:

Bruce, once again you have raised the bar with that dagger. Too bad I cannot admire that one in person at the Blade.

Bruce: Absolutely splendid! It's nice to see "Made in America" rather than Made in China!! Great photography Caleb

David, I sent this one to Walter Brend, I believe he has a table at Blade. If so look him up and ask to see it. My customer is flying in to get this one and a fighter from Walter.

TY for the info Bruce -- I hope Roger sees the post you just did and gets to see the dagger and can give me the low down on it. It is truly and exceptional dagger.

I thought it was pre-ban, too.
The mammoth looks fantastic.

I'll go along w/Joe, fit for a King !
Superb Dagger, Bruce.
