Bruce Culberson EDC Review

Is that blade really only 3" ? It appears longer in the pics !

You are right pit, on the specs above, the blade length is 3.5" when you include the unsharpened ricasso area.

A couple more pics from today. Used the knife to cut a sapling and make a figure 4 from it. Worked great!

Thanks for posting the nice pics Ken!

When you go to put on convex edge on that blade it shouldn't take to long since the edge was ground pretty thin:thumbup:

Yeah not very often I'm wrong !:D

Obviously, Mrs. Pit is not a registered member here.

Ken, did you make the figure-4 like that on purpose? (meaning the trigger stick is extended the opposite way when compared to common set up) If so, an interesting take.

Beautiful knife, BTW.

Doc - that was the most polite method of calling me an idiot I have ever heard :) :) I knew something wasn't quite right. Maybe the dyslexia got in the way :D Still worked....Maybe I can lie and call it a short trigger version ;)

I looked at it and thought - "Hey, that would work as well!" I'm going to think about the ramifications. You may have come up with something useful.

I have an almost exact copy of your little stove, good ol' pineapple can on a boring afternoon, burned all of the zinc coating off the inside before I cooked anything with it, but it makes a nice little flame that's fueled by wind and will heat up a can of soup or a hot dog real fast. thankfully now that I live in Idaho I don't have to worry about it anymore, we don't have any fire restrictions right now.
