Being a newbie to the forum I'd like to post some info on a knife I recently purchased from Bruce.

I received it today.. And to say the least, it was beyond my best expectations.

It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL !! And further Bruce is the BEST to do business with.

I've already sent him a PM, but I'd like to let the rest of the community know what an artist he is and what a great guy he is to do business with..

Bruce.. Thanks again, and I will be watching to see what your next creation will be. Hopefully soon !!

Best of luck to you..

You should probably post this in the G, B & U forum, but if you have photos I'm sure everyone around here would love to see them.

Keith,

Being a newbie I have to admit I don't know where you think I should post this.

Wherever it will be read by the most people is where I'd like it to be.

Any suggestions will be welcomed.

RE: Photos.. Once again being new I'm not sure I know how to accomplish that, but I will give it a try.

Thanks

Sugarfoot, go to www.photobucket.com and open a free account.
Upload your photos and then you can copy and paste the image code (bottom rectangle under your photo, once loaded at photobucket) in your response box here.
Easy as eating apple pie.

And that Evans guy makes a nice knife...I have 4 :D

Ebbtide,

Thanks for the pic info.. I took a couple of pics tonight with the flash but they don't do the knife justice..

I'm going to wait till tomorrow when the natural light will give a more accurate image..Work like Bruce's shouldn't be diminished by bad photography..

This is my 1st but I have a feeling it won't be my last..

If you need help posting just e-mail me the pic. Congrats on your new piece - Bruce is one of the good guys.

Roger

Glad you like it Sugarfoot...Keith was talking about the "Good Bad and Ugly" forum...

Roger,

Thanks for the offer.

If I can't make it work with the photobucket info that Ebbtide gave me I'll give ya a holler.

Thanks

Nice to have you here. :)
I struggled with the photo thing at first. It's simple after you do a few.

KJ,

Thanks for the welcome aboard.. I appreciate it..

I'll give the pic deal a try tomorrow after I take a few in the natural light..

You are WISE well-beyond your post count, my friend. Many thanks for understanding this, even if you can't accomplish it. Often posters don't get that this may not promote a maker's work.

Natural lighting is superb over flash. Use the macro setting (if you have it) even 24" away. Draw on any of us here to help you. Looking forward to the work!

Coop,

As it turns out I'm agewise WAY beyond my post count.. Well at least age, maybe not wise..

I have taken photos for way more yrs than I'd like to count and know the advantage of natural light vs flash, artifical, etc..

The important thing as you point out is to show Bruce's work (or any artist) at it's best pic wise not to detract from the quality by a bad pic by a poster..

Hopefully if I get one I like I'll post it so all can see the fine work he does..

Knife looks great - congrats!

To get the pics to show in the thread, just add the appropriate tags around the url for the photos.

i.e. -

The result is:
