For Sale - Brutus - Hand-Forged Knife - Free Shipping
Description - I have been forging and pumping out my most popular knife, the Lil Brutus for over a year now. I finally decided to make its bigger brother and this knife is the result. I took and enlarged most of the design elements from the Lil Brutus and ended up with this menacing looking blade. The blade is hand forged from 1080 steel, sports a slightly tapered tang, and a handsome false edge. I went all out on the handle and hardware on this blade, using black paper micarta for bolsters, gray dyed maple burl scales, and toxic green G10 liners. The pins and tube are made from Titanium. This thing is scary sharp, great at tasks both small and large, and looks/feels great in the hands (the handle is very ergonomic!).
Specs - Steel = 1080, Heat treated to spec using a PID heat treat oven, Hardness ~58, OAL = 11in, Blade Length = 6in, Blade Thickness = 5/32in , Weight = 7oz
Price - Depends on if you want a sheath, and what type. I couldn't decide on what type of sheath to match this knife with, so I'm leaving that up to you! (Note: Depending on what type of sheath you choose, the processing time will be up to 4 days).
