Hi All,
I just found out about Bryd Knives and saw them at a dealer at Thunder in the Rockies motorcycle rally in Loveland Colorado. At 1st I thought it was a Spyderco rip off but then saw Spyderco is Bryd. I picked up a few and was extreemly impressed with the quality of the $20-30 knife!
I bought 3 Robins, 2 in G10 and 1 in SS. I gave one to my Wife and I'm using the other 2.
So far all are perfect and as good as my other Spyderco's. I just wish they were made in the USA but then I guess it would be a $75.00 knife.:(

I'm very happy with them and I'm already getting tons of use out of them!

Amen...

I really love my G10 Robin. Wish they'd make some of the smaller knives in G10 scales. I'd love to see a G10 Starling. That'd be sweet!

Congratulations on your new Robins. The byrd knives are a great value. Out of all the byrds my favorites are the Robin and Meadowlark. The Robin is one of my favorite small knives - great handle shape and I like small knives in SS. Although it is also nice to be able to get a G-10 handle at that price.

I bought a robin before, quality wise no complains, just a bit small for my hands. 3" blade seems to be my lower limit for holding on comfortably.

Try and adjust the tension on the adjacent handle screws with a torx driver. This may help with the stiffness. One of the benefits of screw construction is being able to tweak things like this.
