BST 882 is great!!!

Awesome pics. Vassili. This is definitely a great little knife I have handled alot of them but have yet to buy one, it would have to compete with my SNG for carry time. The stipling on the blade is cool if you actually need to use it, us civilians probably won't really need it there though. And the part. serrations as stated are hell on seat belts and clothing, they way out perform a PE. Just this arm chair quarterbacks point of view on the knife. Great job Josh and Buck, the more I here about you guys the more I am impressed.

Are these knives still in production? I don't see them listed on Buck's website?
Thanks.

They list the combo edge version but not the plain edge, tadgear is the only place that has the PE that I am aware of. Could be a tad exclusive for now I know buck is going all out trying to keep up with demand.

I think shaving sharp PE will stay against serration.
Other point - Strider does not make serrated blades!
I just don't like serration.
Thanks, Vassili.

Sorry for the delay in response to your questions. Here you go.

The vast majority of knives we sell are serrated (110 and 119 aside). We will however, continue to build non-serrateds as we go. You should be able to find one pretty easy. TAD has them.

The liners on our current production are .040 thick. The newer ones have a stiffer feel, a more typical Strider feel to them.

The G10 version will have a thicker liner.

Because of the thickness of the blade and the scales the liner looks thin, but it is still strong and provides a solid lock up.

We stand behind our knives 100% and want you all to be happy with them. If you have any issues with any of our products feel free to contact me and we'll take care of you.

I carry one everday (took my SNG's spot) and I love it. Of course I am probably biased.

Thanks,

Josh

i am more impressed by the sbt everytime i hear about them! :D i think i may have to get one soon!!! :)

Cool!

I am looking forward for G10 version!
(What about G10 110?)

Thanks, Vassili

Josh,

Now you're talking.

I'll go for one of the G10/thicker liner 882's to replace the SnG I had to sell for finance's sake.

Please tell me the thicker liner is more than just 0.050", though... at least 0.063" or 0.080" (like on the original Buck Striders... now THOSE were awesome.)

Kudos to Buck for listening to their customers about the liners. I am definitely buying a G10, thicker liner 882.

Glad to hear that Josh. I'm impressed you guys are amazing with the production capacity you have, I'll have to come visit your facility sometime.

We are looking at the October- November time frame, but no guarantees. Sometime soon.

Pictures of the BST 882 are absolutely gorgeous. Will wait for the G10 version.
Should be an interesting version of an already successful first edition! :)
