(All sold - thanks everyone) Hey all – 2 knives for sale today. The knife dressed in Bubinga (red) handles is a pattern I designed and call (Whitetail hunter). The knife dressed in Cocobolo (brown/orange) is a pattern I designed and call (Explorer). Both knives are very comfortable in hand and should make anyone a good functional knife that would fill a variety of roles. I have provided photos and a short video of both knives. First (I will take it followed by and private message and payment gets it).

Whitetail Hunter – Asking (sold) (paypal) shipped in lower 48. (Short Video) Explorer – Asking (sold) (paypal) shipped in lower 48. (Short Video)
  • Knife: Whitetail Hunter (Bubinga) / Explorer (Cocobolo)
  • Steel: 26c3 (Bubinga) with hamon, 8670 (Cocobolo)
  • Thickness: 5/32 (Bubinga), 1/8 (Cocobolo)
  • Handle: Bubinga handle with mosaic pins for hunter / Cocobolo with black micarta pins for Explorer
  • Finish blade: Polished finished for Bubinga hunter and stonewash for Cocobolo Explorer
  • Notes: The hunter has a small ding in the steel from the distributor that I could not get out in the finish visible near the handle and visible in the photos. I did my best to get a high polish, but some areas are a bit cloudier and not as good as I would like. The explorer model is stonewash and I don’t love the consistency I am getting and will be working to improve this in the future.

Please read - A bit about me / disclaimer. I am a hobby maker and go by (K.B. Knifeworks) on bladefourms. I have been a member since 2009 but only recently in the last few years started to craft my own knives. I do my best to create a quality knife and hope others will find it useful. I, of course, use my own knives as a hunter and outdoorsman and find them quality and useful and hope others will also. I make knives in my free time as a hobby maker and do everything in-house from scratch to include design, grinding to HT. I freehand grind everything and do my best but please understand bevels/lines will not be perfect. I have a quality Heat-treat oven and use the specs outlined on Knifesteelnerds for steel specifics. I buy all my steel from pops, NJSB or knifemakerusa and most of my other materials as well (outside of wood). I use G-flex for handle expoxy so the bond is strong.

At this point in my knife making journey, I think it’s very important to be transparent and clear that I am still learning/developing skills and want any potential buyer to understand that my knives are in no way perfect. I do my best to be transparent and factor that into my asking price. I also try to be as transparent as possible, including lots of photos and videos. If you ever buy a knife from me and have an issue, please just send me a PM and I will make it right. Thank you for looking!

These look like great patterns and really liking the lines. The hunter looks like it will give you excellent finger clearance to use that whole edge on game, and the explorer just looks so comfortable and classy 👍

Special wife says "no more knives in the house" price drop on the explorer model 😂. To her credit she has been super supportive in this hobby - but I guess 30 knives in the hutch does not count as decorations.
