Buck 101 Hunter Club

another version in 5160. offered by Copper & Clad in 2016. FullSizeRender (64).jpg

I wouldn't mind Buck giving the 101 another try. Maybe make it a bit more in the hand. Perhaps in the same way the 2 dot 110s are just a bit bulkier. Square bolsters and all.

Am i crazy? Think i will be riding my BMW R1200GS for a nice long ride tomorrow.
A 101 may jump into my panniers?
Wife keeps telling me if I don’t ride it sell it??

Boy do you guys have me wishing I had bought one.
I remember when they first came out and I certainly thought they were cool, but I have no clue why I never bought one.

Considering the 110 was designed with a lock to be almost as strong as a fixed blade the 101 doesn’t make sense. Cool knife though.

Not sure what the blister pack 101 configuration is ( most likely a plain Jane in 420HC) but if i make the trip i’ll soon find out.
Good Night All.

I too hope some LE stuff will come up. As far as redundancy ,, I like the slight heft of the 101 over the 102.

They are cool. But don’t make sense to me either.

The 110 has compromises to make it fold, most notably the lack of even a single guard. This one doesn’t fold but still has the compromises.

I always wanted a fixed blade 110, but the 101 didn’t match what I had envisioned.

I’m also not a fan of the bare head versions. A nice pommel would work better. Then what is up with the ones that still have the lock button cutouts?
