Buck 102 Giveaway. WINNER CHOSEN. CONGRATULATIONS BENNYBLADE

I lost the picture but it was me in a safari outfit on the edge of a forest with mountains in the far background. Nearby was my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, packed with all sorts of hiking and exploration gear. The driver's door was open. I was sitting on a camp chair near an extinguished camp fire. In front of me was a black walnut burled stump that I was using as a table. On my left, a wild panther was sitting relaxed and on my right, my faithful black Labrador was waiting with anticipation. On the stump was a large raw meat roast I was cutting to share with the animals. I was using a Buck 124.

Bam! Prize won.😀

P.S., of course I am a BCCI member.

Ode to the 102, by Happy Hippo

A General's so full of might,
With its blade so very long.
And Frontiermans are a sight,
With it, you can not go wrong.

Specials are the common knife
That people know so well.
105s will make your life
So much easier, pray tell.

The Personal is so great,
With its blade so sharp and true.
And the Brahma is its mate
That Buck promised to redo.

But say I need a certain blade,
Where longer knives will not do?
The answer is, I'm afraid,
To get the Buck one-oh-two!

The 110SS I dyed red. Also saved a 112 from being sent away by my boss.
Sufferin' succotash! Which knife shall I use on that Tweedy?

Sorry but still don't get the whole Hirohito commemorative thing on any level. But I am relieved to hear it's not Buck's work.
I don't get it either. Hirohito is lucky he didn't get what Tojo got. Hardly a hero, at least in most American's eyes of my age.

This gives me a good picture of what James Thurber was writing about in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty! We all suffer from overactive imagination syndrome sometime! Thanks for the laugh. OH

I was good at creative writing in high school, but I became a Chemical Engineer instead of an author. The only thing actually true about my story is that I have a 124.

My pet squirrel, Mr Fuzzy, isn't dead. It took a couple of weeks of training and a pound of cashews, but I taught him how to play dead.

That should net two Oscars . . . one for best director and one for best leading actor!
