I have a question about the pommel on the early knives. Vern Taylor had an article in the Newsletter and mentioned that for the early production knives the pommel was made from flat bar stock. When was this changed? Bert
Pretty sure there is a BUCK* in that picture. That generally is attributed to late 66 /early 67.
As to the age of yours, i think the pommel became less angular and a bit more rounded/fuller with time.
That would make yours more in the later part of the time period.
It is white bone. There’s no info about the knife. I bought it at ebay and the seller couldn’t give me any info. These knifes are hard to find. Much luck for you.That white horn (?) version is nice! Any info on it? Are they easy to find?
