Buck 110/112 FG

Yeah, its an OAB, I'm not much on composite handles either, but I appreciate its light weight. Funny you should mention saddle bags, thats where this puppy lives when I throw mine on the scoot.

It seems it would be good in a saddle bag for one of those "damn! Wish I had a beast of a knife!" days.
That reminds me of a Hell's Angel I pulled over one time who had a knife dangling from his belt that honestly looked like it had been made from an old lawn mower blade. The thing was a monster.

That's what I get for trying to be gramatically correct! :o By the way, have you ever been to San Diego Goose? Have you ever met Mexican Mike or Crunch Renzulli?

Officer Mike...
Yep, been to SD. I like it there...but I never lived there so my perception is only that as a visitor.

No, don't know those gentlemen. I just read a lot ;) Were they guests of yours?

Hey, BTW, I bet that SDPD 110 you aquired would look good on display in a shadow box or some other display. Have you, or are you, going to do that? Post pics if so.

Kind Regards,
Goose.

Goose,
Former HA SD chapter President & VP. I'm still scratching my head over how to display that 110 and other stuff. When I get around to it I will certainly post pictures.

I know you are being facetious, but I have read that lawn mower blades are made from good steel that makes even better knife blades... :)

I was but I wasn't. The knife blade was just about the width and thickness of your average mower blade. I believe what you say about them being good knife steel.

Does anyone have a source for reblading buck knives? I would love to have a 112 FG with an ats34 or d2 blade. I think this would make an ideal edc. Thanks for any replies.

Buck http://www.buckknives.com will put a new blade on for you. I doubt that you will get ATS34 or D2. Leroy Remer, fomer Buck employee, does woderful work with his own line and Buck knives. http://triple-r-knives@cox.com
