buck 110 auto, is it made like that by buck, or modified later?

buck 110 auto, is it made like that by buck, or modified later by someone else? I've seen them a few times only, and I'm just curious.

Buck never made an automatic 110. They are all post-market conversions and are not covered by Buck's lifetime warranty.

There are a few different versions as well. One has a oval button and the other has a circle button. I don't know if one is better than the other.

And some are only automatic, and some can still be opened manually or automatic.

We probably get half a dozen or so back in the warranty department each year. We have to send them back to the customer as found. I've probably seen 4 or so diferent types of auto mechanisms on the 110 over the years.
