First post so be easy!
I have an old USA made Schrade model LB7 that belonged to my grandfather that he abused to a great deal. Big chunk missing out of the blade, tip is gone. It's still got a good handle, it's just that the blade is useless.
I'd like to give it new life and carry the thing. I know that Buck does blade replacements for $10, and I figured I could (hopefully) talk them into sending me a blade, but I wouldn't know if it would fit. The designs being so similar and all I figured it might just pop in.
I know there's folks on here that do a good deal of salvage and custom work on old blades. Maybe someone might just have the knowledge of whether one would fit or not, or might even have and old lb7 blade laying around they wouldn't mind selling to me.
So how bout it folks?
