Recommendation? Buck 110, bought from US, for Europe, off center. What do you say, a real problem or not?

At first glance I thought your pictures were upside down but than I realized your are from Europe on the other side of the world so you would be upside down to us.

So you can imagine my struggle viewing threads that contain images from bladeforums every day...as yours seem to be the same way to me...

Ha!Ha!Ha! The other side of the world they'd be inverted, wouldn't they? Ha!Ha!

I think upside down would be from Australia...Ha!Ha!

Returned with a bit more photos:

Looks like you got a perfect edge grind on that one, it's a keeper in my book.
These are hand sharpened and the edge grind isn't always 100% perfection as mine wasn't.
I see my slightly uneven edge bevel which I don't let bother you, chances are you'll never even notice this blade beknb slightly off center.
Centering means nothing anyways if it doesn't mark up the blade or dull the edge.

I don't throw away American traditional knives, I happen to like them :D

I was joking??? That's what Ha!Ha! means...o_Oo_Oo_O

Don't people in Europe have a sense of humor?:):):):)

Some people think that since the blade isn't perfectly centered its trash, I don't think that, all the knives I collect are American knives....

Thanks Hickory n steel, I noticed the apex on mine was quite good. And yes, the blade doesn't touch the handle, which indeed, makes it all good.

I saw the humor, don't worry, that's why I posted a smiley :D to your Ha!Ha!
Unfortunately, not all mine are American, but I do love Buck.
Thank you.

Buck's are Great knives anything they have that's not made in the US, they are trying to bring it back...Good for Them!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

You can't beat the quality, warranty, or the customer service...

Thank You for Purchasing American made products!!!

I'm carrying this just about every day, and it isn't perfect. ~$100 for an aluminum framed Buck 110 in S30V. Blade is slightly off center when closed, but perfectly centered when open, and that's the trade-off. Seldom do you get both in a knife made mostly by hand (which the 110 is).

I dare you to use it hard and then worry about it in a year!

The next time, you need to step up to a Copperandclad, SKblades, Cabelas, or 110 Pro and get better steel and scale material.
