Old stock, they were not a lower cost version exclusive to Walmart.

The only exclusive Walmart Buck knife today as far as I know is the 110LT with that particular style of logo on the handle.
At least that was a Walmart version but I wouldn't be surprised if that's the standard version now.

I just double checked: I have two 110's from Walmart. One has a laminated handle, the other is ebony. Both were $35. I was thinking about picking up another the last time Walmart prices came up, but I only have so many pockets.

The 371's are pretty heavily discounted online and at the Walmart near me. I have a couple that I really like. Easy to sharpen, fun to carry, and I won't cry if it gets dropped in the mud, or lost by one of my kids.

When I heard the price was increasing, I was able to pick up a dozen of the 110's @ $35 price point online. They all came with Crelicam genuine ebony scales. 11 out of 12 had beautiful blonde streaks in the ebony. Now I have some stocking stuffers on-hand for the next couple of years.

Had to get my tires rotated and balanced and they still had the lower price point.
So I got one...

Hmmm, the US prices still seem to be very low in my opinion. Of course, the inflation is obvious and sad but no need to worry on your side of the Atlantic. Here in Europe/Germany we pay Dollar/Euro almost 1:1 if not more.

For example: the anniversary 112 costs in the US roundabout 80 $ right? In Germany 99 €. That would be 112 (coincident) $. The German price for the 112 vintage tribute is 399 €. That would be 453 $.

Grab em over there. You have no idea how lucky you all are...

I look back fondly at past Walmart 110 Christmas tins that were clearance priced lower and lower till it almost got ridiculous! Forum members wre driving long distances to find THE deal. I remember many found them at under $20.00 some under $15.00 and if I remember correctly the lowest price was under $10.00! My brother was calling stores all around central Florida but the best deals were only found if you took one up to the cash register to see what it would ring up at. Many Customs by a lot of different maker's were based on that knife for years later. I hoped that the 112 versions would be too found incredibly cheep but the lowest price was around $20.00 or so.

So when is the price increase? They are still $35 on Walmart.com
its already happened. 60 where I am right now.

website uses cookies and ip location and such to change prices where ya are. where I am website only shows 60 buck for me.

I haven't tried to outsmart it by clearing cookies and using a VPN and other ways to limit its ability of location and such.

okay I played with clearing cookies and using my VPN on a internet host I had no history on and wasnt tied to my Google account......

problem with my VPN is it used a server near nj and that area was the 60 dollar 110 area. so I switched it to a rural zip code in mississippi...

screen shot from Walmart in that area and price....20220220_015330.jpg

and walmart closer to me with higher income and higher prices.....

so see its being done by cookies and ip locations on the website. i tried to buy at that mississippi location.....but soon as I logged in it adjusted the price back to 60 dollars. likewise I opened a new account hidden by the VPN location wise...soon as I put in my address it adjusted the price back to 60 dollars. their software is too smart to let me play those games.

so in the end where ya are it is what it is by your address shipping wise. same with in store prices. go to a higher income/higher cost of living area, price is 60. be happy ya still got the 35 buck Buck 110. wish I did...

hope that was informative enough to make it make sense?

Thanks for the research work Jesse, makes me feel better about buying another 110 there yesterday. Prices here will catch up soon I'm sure. Probably when their stock gets reordered. Guess I should... 😁
