Buck 110 or Benchmade Big Summit Lake

... BUT I am also of the opinion that everybody needs a Buck 110. Get one and use it for a weekend camping and then throw it in the glove box. Shoot, this thread has me thinking I'll take a 110 as my only folder next camp trip just because. It is a great folding knife and Buck is :thumbup::thumbup:

Reminded me how empty my collection is without a 110. One if the 3 i mentioned has refound itsplace on my top3.

The Buck 110 is an American (-designed and -made) classic, and if you like knives enough to be reading and posting here, you need one, sinple as that. You're incomplete until you have one and use it. Get the basic model wherever you can and that will keep the price down.

As for Benchmade's item(s) — they look nice, maybe I'll get one. But if you lack both, get the 110 first.
