Buck 110 Pricing

How come no one's even mentioned the option of buying the 110 online!? That way you can still support an independent, knife-o-centric business AND get a lower price. Granted, you can't fondle the knife ....... but a 110 from Buck? The odds are REALLY low you'll get a lemon. Their QC (especially on this, their flagship product) is really strong.

I mentioned it, but only in passing. Seems his local KMart has better prices than most online shops. Plus, on a single inexpensive item like that paying local sales tax will be cheaper than paying shipping.

Generally though, I prefer to shop online. Better prices, better selection, and better service.

Best Wishes,
Bob

No doubt that the X-mart prices are better, if you are only looking for a knife, buy it there. If on ,the other hand, you also buy guns on a regular basis, you might be able to establish a good relationship with the gun store guy that will pays off when you are looking for a deal on a new gun. The gun store guy has to eat to, and if we don't support the small buisnessman, we'll all be buying our guns from X-mart. I remember when there were alot of small gunshops all over the place, but they are a dieing breed these days. In the past several years, 2 have gone under that I tried to shop at when I needed something. There's still 2 more nearby that I also try to support, including buying a knife or two when I can, but I know one is struggling.

Go for the S30V 110 that Cabela's has for $59.99. Nicer handles and blade steel. Believe me, you'll be glad you did. That bad boy is SHARP. :D

Yeah, I like the Alaskan 110. If I'm going to spend 59.00 on a 110, I'll order that from Cabelas and not get a plain one here.
