Buck 110 question

Just sent them both in for the spa! Appreciate the advice and will post pics when I get them back. I did tell them not to replace the blade, id rather have it original even if it's not as clean looking
 
Nice that's great to know! I'll definitely send it in, didn't know they do that for older models as well. Was nervous to get it since I know nothing about them but figured might as well try for the price. Thank you!
Your blade is 440c heat treated by Bos. Don't have the blade replaced, the current steel isn't as good.
 
I put on the repair form "do not replace blade" even if it's not perfect I'd rather have the original blade no matter what
 
They're back!!! 😁 it took a couple months but it was well worth it, they both look brand new and can't believe the difference. Thank you all for suggesting i send them in

Great finds. When you send them in specify you want the Edge 2000, not the Historically accurate original edge geometry.
The Edge 2000 cuts/slices better, and is a LOT easier to resharpen.
