Buck 110 question.

Good morning,
I'm trying to locate a Buck 110 with 5160 steel. I've tried Copper n Clad and they basically said (not a quote) that Buck cut them off.
I have an ad here in the wanted section with no success. Does anybody know of any companies selling the 110 in 5160?

no dealers are selling them. was kinda a c&c special offering in most of the Buck classic models. best bet already said, watch Buck for sale section here and ebay...good luck.

Help please. Would the knife I'm looking for, say 5160 on the front or back side of the blade?

This is a 120 but the mark will look like this, possibly smaller on the 110. It will be on the opposite side from the tang stamp.
Buck marks ALL blade steels that are not standard.

Thank you! I had missed out on the run a year or two ago but knew that I had to have one if they were released again. I was lucky to snag one a few months back.

Yea, I got ahold of them and here's what they told me.
Tim, unfortunately we do not. Buck has discontinued our 5160 line of knives. My apologies, Claude

Then I got ahold of Buck only to find out that whatever they offer on their customization area, is all they have.

I checked with Buck. They said, whatever steel you see for offer in our custom shop is all we have available.
