Buck 110 question...?

Keep the LB7 and retire it. Should go up in value since Schrade went bottoms up a few years ago, and now are being made in China I believe.

The Buck 110 is as good or better (subjective to the user) and Buck still has lifetime warranties on all of theirs. The 110 is made in the USA.

The only difference in the new ones and the one you posted would be a year stamp on the tang. The one you bid on wasn't vintage by any means. Get up top here on the picture threads and look at the differences in frames to really get vintage.

Check Joe Housers thread about the 110 markings to get familiar with how to determine age.

Ebay has a lot of older knives that still might be less than the one you bid on depending on what they are.

Is a lot to learn for sure.

What the Rat said about ebay. I love to just bargain shop for and oldey and theyre out there. Got a near mint 72-74 110 just before Christmas for 28 bucks and have been out bid on some for less.

NICE! You did good! I love the older two scale pins ones and the squared sides, as well as the rounded edges :D on the new ones.

Thanks Ratty-trying to steal a nice one is alot of fun. Its like waiting for a trophy buck instead of shootin anything with horns. Also allows your Buck fever to stay at a high temp but not pay for too many meds:p
