Buck 110 w/Chuck Buck signature?

hi jb nice pics
is there a story to that 503 stag with the rack etching , i like that one

I have two, one red, one green, both brass bolster. These are the ones that commemorate the fortieth anniversary of the 110, right?????. Preston

Red is probably the other I have seen, that would make 3 different handles.
I dont know if mine is the 40th anniversary or not, it doesnt have that etch on the blade. Maybe used the Chuck Buck design for the 40th?

Hi Buckman#10,

Its a 2001 LE. Here is another one from the same seller. There is a bid on this one already :(. The pics on his auction suck....but as you see the knife was fine:D . Not long ago there was a 110FB with stag and the same antler design but it was a cut out on ebay.

Thats all I have seen. I dont own either though :(
There now doesnt that look nice :D

Whats the date stamp on the red one? I cant see it in the pic. Thanks!

It's the same(T) but smaller stamp. Preston

They were all done around the same time then! Gees a guy could have an entire collection just from this one variation!
Yep I can see it now those 2 on either side of mine in my Buck Knives 3 knife stand LOL :D
I wonder now how many variations there really are?

I started to collect the 100 year ones until I realized how many!:(
Now Scott is continuing my collection for me :D
I cant get every knife in a series like that way to many L.E and S.P. knives...
Maybe when we get our trading forum up and running I'll trade you mine:D LOL

You bet!:D

:) ...Seeing the beautiful knives you guys own is always a pleasure to me. I'm kinda glad I never got into the super special knives. They were never around when I was using a knife so I never developed a severe need for them. I do very much like the more traditional knives by Buck...That's why I'm more of a plain ol' "wood n steel" kinda guy. I've also grown to love the stags, elks and similar knives as long as they have no "etchings" or cut-outs or any other adornments except for steel...LOL...I do however totally love seeing those beauties you all have and that you are rightfully proud of...

I just got a collapsable 3&3/4" blade for x-mas signed by I believe Chuck Buck. Pretty sure its the "new" 110 hunting knife. Is it rare to have the blade signed? I can see why people wouldn't pay extra for the signature, but I mean is it something that is not offered very often? All I really know for sure about the blade is the model number and that it was purchased from the factory in Post Falls ID.

Incredibly sharp blade. I'm a chef and it's sharper than any of my chef knives. It's even sharper than my straight edge razor.

Better to let an old thread die and start a new one but since we are here.... I think Chuck Buck was born with an engraver in his hand..... he has spent a lifetime going to events an trade shows...... it might almost be rarer to find a knife without his signature...... :D

Code, I see you have just joined BladeForums and your first post was here at the Buck forum. We welcome you with your Buck knife questions, comments and photographs. Desoto has answered your question. If you or someone else wishes to post a photo or two , go ahead.

However, as a gentlemen's agreement we do not drag forward really old threads, but start new ones with a question or comment like your post. You can reference the old thread if you wish, but in a kind and generous world most folks would rather not read thru a thread that old to get to your new question. Please take the time to also read the rules about asking the value of knives, or questioning or attempting to sell knives on the forum. Limited talk of value and wants is allowed by Gold or higher members only. In the interest of not seeming unfriendly here in Buck land I will not close your thread but let it drift off once again into the sunset.
