What type of blade steel does it have?

Whatever comes on a stock factory knife. My guess is stainless. I just do the scales on the knives. The palamino jasper is a 7 on the moh's hardness scale.
It started as a stock knife with nylon sheath with composite(looks like plywood) scales and I removed them and replaced with rock. They are glued on with 2 part epoxy(take dynamite to get them off).
