Buck 110 with Deschutes Picture Jasper from Oregon

I finished this knife yesterday and I thought the oveall work was interesting enough to share... Hope you all enjoy this one as it is "owed" in part trade for the stone used.... :D

That is beautiful.

The Deschutes is a river that goes into the Columbia. It must be a Jasper (gem quality quartz, or quartz-granite) from this river basin.

Deschutes is also a famous regional brewery, but that's another story.

I was watching Rooster Cogburn last night which was fimed in Deschutes National Park and I think I saw the piece this knife scale was made from:D

Huuuh ! I'd say this knife has a little fault !!! Does not stand on my self!!!!

This material is also known as new Biggs jasper. The claim for this material is right at the mouth of the Deschutes River where it enters the Columbia River in Biggs, Oregon. FYI.
