I think you did a great job, Stumps. I can see why you may not be completely satisfied but it's still a beautiful knife. 😀
And just curious, how many knives have you "stumpified"?

My guess would be more than 50, but less than 100 and most with stag, bone, horn or mammoth ivory. Very few with wood.

Not a stupid question at all. I have thought of dyeing it, but would have to do more research and some trials to make sure I got what I wanted.
