Hello all;

A store 20 miles from has a new Buck 110T in the show case for $89.00. It is a beautiful knife, has a stag handle and 4 evenly spaced holes across the blade. Would this be a good investment for $100(89.00 + tax + gas :) ), or should I take a pass?

Thanks!

If the handle is Elk it sounds like one of the Sierra Trading Post knives. If I recall correctly there were just over 200 made. I purchased one when they had them on closeout for under $50. They are unique, but for $100 you may want to consider ordering a custom 110 from the Buck Custom Shoppe.

I have one as well. One of my favorite Buck's. I only wish I had bought two, because that holey blade would be awesome swapped over to a 560. If I had an extra, I would have done a 2 way swap. Move the holey blade to the 560, then had a blade upgrade on the stag handle, ending up with two semi-custom knives.:D

Thanks guys for your input. :) I think i'll pass on buying it as I could use the funds elsewhere.

I'm going against the flow here, but I'd say you couldn't lose money with this knife. Even junk 110's are getting ~$35 on eBay; specials are getting whatever you want. I'd buy it... :thumbup:
