Buck 110X

Can someone point me towards some history of this knife? I can't seem to find year made, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

The X means this knife was made in 1990.

That raises a good question, when did 110's become available at Wal-Marts?

I have never seen 110's not be available at Walmarts.

They were available in 1981 or 82, when I walked in our old time Mart and there stood Sam Walton shaking hands with everyone who entered.

One of my tried and proven buck friends is my 110x FG... bought it at a gun shop in northern NH. It is my favorate
