Buck 111 - I Didn't Know That I Owned One!

This is a 111 that was from the custom shop and it has a sister I own. It has Ironwood Scales and a mirror polished blade. Also nickel silver bolsters.

I bought this 111 before many of my 112's..It's the BCCI Club knife from 2007. Of all my Buck knives including my 112's I have probably used this the most. I didn't carry it on my belt much but used it as my main Desk knife from 2009 to 2016. It's opened hundreds of letters and countless Ebay boxes. Lots of food cutting too! The mirror polished blade and Gold etch has held up well..One of my very favorite knives. 20220909_222220.jpg20220909_222220.jpg

Here are both together and I have another sheath. They have a secret, they numbered the knives wrong, they were to read --- / 1000, these say 500 and I have a letter from Buck asking for them back. Beautiful knives!!! No longer made!

Digging through stuff and it turns out i have 3 of these LEs with the goofed serial numbers these are B111-sp01-0

Also have a regular wood handled model 111 with an idaho cutout B111-sp2-0

A little late to this thread. Buck Knives is where my collection started and are my favorites to this day. I have an assortment of 110's and 55's. The 111 does look a little nicer than a 110. Wish more options were available for them more often. Buck does have one available right now under their "Web Special" tab. Walnut, S30V, Drop Point Blade. Pretty great package in my book.

Just received my 20th anniversary limited edition of 111. Magna Cut steel, nickel silver bolsters, ebony handles. It came scary sharp. This will go with my custom 110 drop point with SV-35 steel, stag handles, and silver bolsters. I carry my regular 110 drop point every day, and my 110 from the eighties is in pristine condition. I just ordered the 301 stockman. Best factory blades I've ever owned.
