Absolutely beautiful knife. 111 limited build with Alfred's name on blade. Polished perfectly. I would say less than 19 of these available.

If your registered online with Buck you would of received this notification in your email today.

I see 8 remaining in stock. This is one from the BCCI 25th. Coined aluminum.

Just arrived home.... none left. Dang....
I wonder how many went to resellers and what the eBay cost will be.....

That is a sharp looking knife. Pardon the bad pun.

I had checked a few days ago for one of the Waterfowler build outs and those disappeared pretty quickly as well.

Guess you have to be pretty quick on the draw or check the site pretty often.

It appears to be a thinner and lighter 110 like what you were suggesting Buck make. I'll be interested to know the specs too.

Yup. Throw on some Paperstone or Micarta scales, brass liners and a long pull like on my big ol' 307... Yum.

I got home and opened the email...Can't open it at work since Buck is a knife maker we have a block on it at work!!!! I love the 111 and would have got a few!!!

Beautiful knife. I got the email this morning and put one in my cart, just couldn't pull the trigger. Seeing what some of the Classics are going for on the bay, this is (or was) a steal!

Makael you are one terrific photographer man-o-man. WOW! Beautiful work. You made me want to buy one and I already own one. Here is mine from last knock down drag out BCCI brawl and tractor pull in your neck of the woods a few years ago. Yea I know, the sheath on this version of the 111 Classic is nothing to write home about but the blade makes up for it wouldn't you say:

I have several of that model 111 (3 dot-- maybe) in my collection. They are very light and were originally considered for the name 'Campers Special'. But the engraved Cowboy theme was in vogue at the time so they got it. Without checking they are under 1/2" wide. DM

Their blades were originally mirror polished. Around 1986 they were given a satin finish. Their sheaths were first class tooled leather. A real
classy model Buck brought out in 1983. DM

3.6 oz. About 7/16 thick. Very nice.

That's about the weight, thickness, and beauty I'd love to see in a production 110/111 variant. Camping would be one ideal use. Thin and light enough to be pocket carried without a clip. No need for thumbstuds.

You know... I'd bet that faux tooling could be replicated in G10, Delrin or Paperstone, no? Would add grip and would be a nice tie to the 111.

Then add brass liners and a long pull like on the 307.

I can see it.

Nice knife. I did pick up a leather sheath while at the store. I am going to try and burn that pattern from the knife onto the sheath. If I press hard on a wet piece of leather I might get a pattern imprint.
