Nice knife. I did pick up a leather sheath while at the store. I am going to try and burn that pattern from the knife onto the sheath. If I press hard on a wet piece of leather I might get a pattern imprint.

Many years ago I had decent success with carbon paper but had to make sure to cut on the right side of the line so my tooling would hide the marks. If I were going to copy this pattern to leather for a sheath today, I would take a good digital photo of it and print it on a transparency sheet. That way I could adjust the size easier o match the leather cut outs.
