I was just surprised when 334dave said that most (or even half) were brass because I'd never seen one, even on Ebay until now.

I've seen the 111 Custom Elk, very cool knife as is the snakeskin you have. I just still can't find the normal everyday ones in the catalogs.

i realy liked the 111 looks
and was moveing to have ing a display of only them
so was tracking them fairly close for a while
i have some one offs and customs
and yes i wanted the nickel like most but the
brass was cheeper ... shiny things attract kids you know
about half on ebay seemed to be brass..
as it was discontuned i have backed off on that
but here are most of the odd ones- enjoy
here are 3 one offs

the one one one is elephant ivory

some cut out 111 from '07

a chip flint 111 -

and a droped verson

I thoght the final production run is a brass one.
But that was a mistake.

i recently got a brass ,111 serrated model.Marked Custom.. Do not know to much on this one. Kinda wish it were plain silver ha.

I prefer the 111 over the 110, I just think it's a classier looking knife.
