Came by a nice Buck classic 111. I am not an avid collector but thought I would try to find a original embossed classic sheath. does anyone have one?????or suggestions where I might find one or am I wasting my time.......Any and all info appreciated

Just keep an eye out on the big auction sites. They show up every now and than. Sometimes with the box as well.

It's nice to put it together in an original sheath, but it's not that nice of a sheath. Don't overpay. Especially if for using. A nice custom sheath would be better.

I could find one reasonable. The scrolled embossing on sheath looks to match scrollwork on knive. anyway I,ll keep looking . Thanks to everyone for all the info!!!!!!

I found mine trolling the bay. I stole one for very low money in nearly mint condition/no box. I learned a valuable lesson about drinking and bidding though. Having half a snootfull, I didn't realize, though in unused condition, someone had stamped several names into it.

Realized why I got such a good price

I like the way the scrolls are polished. Mine have a weird pattern, almost like a parcay floor. One of mine had a name, but I was able to scuff the name off.

Maybe Buck can get rid of the names and date with a SPA treatment?

That is a beauty. Congratulations. :)

Oh, somebody had a evening Expresso ^. On Fritz 111 those are deep stampings and would be a problem to get off without leaving a divot.
Still, no harm in trying. DM
