I have a Buck 111 with NS bolsters that I got right before they discontinued them. It''s as close to mint as any of my knives, but I don't have the box. Now it seems that all wooden 111's have disappeared, so I'm wondering if this knife will have any value in the future. What seems to be the general opinion?

I expect they will have value, I value mine:D I love the 111 design, I dont know when they'll be all bought up but someone will always want one-unless they got no sense:p

I just bought one myself from mbjannusch. I just made the payment so I haven't received it yet, but once I do it'll be the first time I've seen one in person. I'm happy to add it to the collection.

Any time a knife is discontinued the value tends to go up . If you have the box more so .
If you like it use it and enjoy it and the rest doesn't matter . Be glad you have one . I only have one the club knife and I'm glad I have this 111 . DM

The 111 has a great shape. Especially the BCCI club knife.

These are the only ones I have got. I would like to have more of them.

Best,
Haebbie

The 111's are just about my favorite's of the "110" style knives. Here's a few more including the only brass bolstered one I have.

A couple more. Top was done for me as a gift from Flatlander63. The bottom one is a factory Ironwood.

Great looking 111's . Thanks for posting your photos of them . Nice job Flat on the handles . Did you make a template and hand radius the wood to fit ? Plumber, Buck only did a short run of those 111's with Ironwood be glad you got one I've not seen many . DM

The bottom knife in this picture is a 111 Build Out with an IonFusion blade. It's the same knife as the top one in the first picture, but I think it shows the blade color better.

And here I thought this thread was about the old 111's... looks like I missed the boat on these. Very nice looking knives!

Pretty Boy,

That BCCI 111 is the only FG version I have and it is a sweet knife, you should also get it's lil bro the BCCI 55. I believe the value of the 111 will be the same as any of the 110's and it's variations. Like most of the others who have commented, I don't have many 111's in my accumulation. I'll add a few photos of 111's for you.

Clyd, Thats fine I've always liked the Classics . Plumber, nice knives . Whats the wood slabs on the middle one ? Haebbie, what the open grain wood on your no year date 111 ?
Thanks for the photos . Handsome knives . DM

I have a couple of those and if I remember correctly they were made in 2008 (??) and released prior to the date stamp for that year getting to Buck. I also have one 110 stamped the same way.

Thanks guys thats great . JB, that some striking knives . I had seen the Stag-feathered 111 in one of my well equipped knife stores and really liked it and should have bought it .
Then I like your Buck customs and the 111 Rattler . Clyd, is your 111 Classic a 4 dot ? Do you have the whole set ? Thats really nice . DM
