Buck 112/450 hybrid

I love odd 112's like this. Many folks don't care for serrated blades on small folders but the first 2 custom 112's I ordered when Bucks first opened the Custom shop in the late 2000's had them because up to that point I had never seen a 112 with serrations. The 'factory' clip added really makes it unique.

When did you start collecting 112s? Didn't know you liked them...

The Boone and Crockett 112/113 set was the first high radius hollow grind DP 112 I've seen..I tend to think of the 450 profile as a spear point.

The 450 blade has always been one of my favorite 112 variations. It just looks good to me. I've thought about doing my own blade swap as 450s aren't hard to come by on the auction site, but the all have that dull finish which I'm not a fan of in a standard 112. The new slim series looks to have a very similar blade and already has the thumb stud so maybe I'll try swapping one of those when they come out.
