Buck 112 admirer / UK

Would a lower price claimed on the postage paperwork save Anything? On a used knife? I just picked up a 2 Dot 112 for 15.00 no nail nick and blade is full length. Not selling but could keep an eye out.

Hello Makael ,
I think I know what you mean , and Thanks.
The only way it would be worth my while is if like you say , someone in the US could pick up a reasonable deal for around $15 - $25 for a Buck 112 and ship it to me in the UK as a "Gift" ( not as trade) because then I would be charged a quite hefty customs fee , and I could forward the money for the knife and postage to UK before actual shipment from the US . It wouldn't really matter about the scales as I would be replacing them , but the blade would have to be full length and in reasonable condition ( hopefully without any blade play ) as there is nowhere in the UK that I can get a replacement blade . Same with bolsters , as long as they were not too badly chipped or marked , I could clean them up .
If anyone on the forum would be willing to do this please let me know , and thanks again for keeping an eye out for me Makael .Would really like one with an SV30 blade .
Mike

That would probably be the best bet. I go to flea bay and there are so many options available but most sellers won't ship to Canada either. I picked up the same variant that Makael posted for $60, just waiting for it to clear customs.
