Buck 112 C

I bought a new Buck 112 C this weekend at a pawn shop, what does the C stand for? never seen it before!

I believe that is the variation used for shucking clams, ergo the "C" in the model designation...

Tim the Slugman - Does Case have a page on the web describing their date codes???

I don't have any Case knives, but I've been eyeballing a yellow-ish scaled small folder at my local ACE that I know has been there for zillions of years...Be nice to know how old it is (and whether it's worth $45)...

Case makes a wallet card of it, next time I'm up at my nearest Case dealer I'll see if I can grab you one.
