Buck 112 size

The Fort,SK blades came out with a NS D2 112 for under 100.00 I bought one and its a great 112. I'm not sure if it is a full flat grind but D2 is super rare for a 112. 250 made is all.

I ended up getting a drop point with 5160 steel, and ordered a custom shop one also. I'll try to get a couple of pics this weekend. Thanks to everyone for the great replies.

Post pictures when you get it. IMO, the 112 is the most beautiful production knife made. Just something about the lines that come together just right.

The 110 and 112 are both no compromise knives. They are thick and they are heavy and when you complain about how they carry in your pocket, they'll look you straight in the eye and spit on the ground in defiance. They simply are what they are and if you don't like it, they won't change.

Sheath carry is one option and as other have noted, if you can find the nylon sheath for the 112, it offers the possibility for horizontal carry. I carried my cell phone horizontally at the 10 o'clock position for years but it tore up my jeans and jackets.

I've move to rear pocket carry now for my knives and run a seam 1/2 way up my right rear pocket. This approach makes both the 112 and 110 very easy to carry. Speaking of the 110, if you don't have one yet, everybody should have at least one. Great companion to the 112.

I would pocket carry a 112. I don't have much luck with sheath carry. I was considering a horizontal sheath tho as I've been more into traditional knives and would love to EDC a full size Trapper without scuffing it all up in my pocket since it lacks a pocket clip.

Can't figure out how I missed this. Awesome Bucks, Lance! Hard to decide which I like better. The Buckeye Burl is gorgeous but that Drop Point blade is just about perfect.

Nice scores!
