Hi all,

i have a buck 112 with a marking I can't identify:

right next to the 112 there is what looks like an upside down 'T' with the arms broken upward at a slant.

I am sure it's common, but I can't find any explanation.

thanks,
brett

Since 1986 Buck used a different symbol or variation of symbols to mark the manufacture year of their knives.

Scroll about 3/4 of the way down the page. Its the year stamp. Sounds to me like your trying to describe an arrow pointing down, 2007 year. ;) I see its not updated yet, but its 2007 ;)

I hope this helps.

you know, after i wrote this post I thought 'Yeah, it looks like an arrow pointing down.' I thought to change my post but figured I got th epoint across...LOL

2007 then? Sounds like a winner.

I appreciate your help,

Brett

FYI, our website is getting a major overhaul soon and we are waiting for that time to update the list. :)
