Buck 112

I know exactly what your talking about. If your not experienced in sharpening u wouldn't know that. Very knowledgeable. I don't know anyone else to chat with that's at my level if that makes since.
 
I have aquired 2 Buck diamond benchstones, 375 and 750, and a 1000 grit ceramic stone.
This combination will sharpen any blade steel I have, super easy.
Most often I just use the 1000 grit to touch the blade up.
If it is a bit dull, I use the 750 grit first.
If it is butter knife dull, then I start with the 375 grit.
With these stones I can freehand sharpen a blade to shaving sharp..... literally :)

I have a old 112 fg I wanna do that blade swap on. Thinking about thinning the whole knife also. I like the buck stones but I found out there all smiths. I'll post pix of my stuff tomorrow.
