Buck 112 /

I have the above knife, Buck 112 with the slash behind it (what does that mean?) it has been around the house for quite some time, the blade is loose, and seems out of alignment, it doen't close in the center ot the liners, but rather to one side. Is that normal?
I hear Buck is very good about repairing thier knives and thought maybe I would run this by the experts to see if this would qualify for their guarantee

[JK Knives]

The / signifies the year the knife was manufactured, in this case I believe it means 1994. Buck used adifferent mark for each year of manufacture.
