David M. I will sharpen it and carry it some and see what happens.
Fishstalker, all the 112's are great little knives and the older I get the smaller the Buck

I'm in the minority. I like the 112 a lot better than the 110.
Let the flaming begin :D

The 112 is plenty big enough for most jobs a person would use a folding knife for IMHO, and when in hand, it feels like it was made just for me... Very comfortable. The 110 just doesn't have the same feel for me. I'm a fairly good size guy, 6'2" 220 pounds and have big hands, I just never got use to bigger knives YMMV though

I've had early versions and later versions, but have sold all of them because I just can't get use to wearing a sheath on my belt.
I have to say though, I feel the need to get another one because I feel nekked with out one

I like the 112 plenty but like the 110 best- I dont collect 112's either but they seem to show up from time to time:D

I'm sure a 2 and 4 dot will come along eventually...and a finger groove...possibly a stag....I dont think I collect them at least:p

I personally feel a 112 finger groove drop point IS the 'Best' all around carry knife ever made...

Hawk and 338, I know what you mean about the size (a 3-31/8" blade) . I really like my 110 and still carry it some . Though my Duke has been seeing some pocket time and its the same size as the 112 . I agree it will do about everything I need a knife for . It's a good trapper/small game knife . I suppose one could use it to gut a deer but there are others that will do that better . So, I'll take note how this plays out with me over the next few months . DM
