Hi Folks, At a small local gunshow today and picked up a 119 that I have some questions about as I dont have or do the 119 in my accumulation. It was in a widows hubbys collection that one of our local vendors was/selling for her.

In really nice condition and may have been lightly sharpened at one time.
Sheath looks near new.
The blade has a oneline inverted stamp But looks like the CK on Buck has a double stamp with a DOT stamped at the top right of the K,
Ive come down with Wet macular so my eagle eyed wife and her jewlers loupe pretty much agree with my observations..

Ill try and post some pics..
I know the dots meant up grades in some models but im lost on 119's..
So looking for a year and what the Dot is for

And it being a familiar widow name I may have over paid @ $80 but no biggie to help a widow..
Thanks yall
Larry

Thanks WB...
I will have to see if my copy of Mr Odens book survived the flood...
This is the only 119 I have..
I wonder what the time frame was for the inverted one line tang was

I'd say you got a good deal at $80. Unless the blade has been damaged/excessively sharpened.

I think the inverted single line stamps were first used on the 100 series which were introduced in 1961 and continued until the addition of the asterisk in 1967.
