1992 date code - .Came with a dark brown snoopy sheath.
Condition will determine value.
I donot know how many were mfg. but not many.

i seen that one and i think it is aftermarket made ...
and not a factory made one because of the butt cap...
in the list of spechal projects by RM i did not see a leather one listed...
that said... records are not perfict...nor am i ...
any one with better info?

i figured it was from LLbean but i dont know for sure
i didnt get a sheath or box and still had to pay hard

sorry about that trax
my battery died so this is all i have right now but it sure looks similar to gooses 105
this has no etching or other markings other than the standard buck ones

sorry about that trax

S'OK, my comment was directed at GreatScout, following dave's post about the different pommel on aftermarket mods of the 119 w/leather disks... :D

I meant for GreatScout to post a pic... ;)

I have used stacked leather disks to re-scale (re-grip?) an M16 bayonet, and was curious as to how the 119 aftermarket mods looked, with its oddly shaped pommel...I suppose the "disks" would have to be buffed/sanded to the oval shape...maybe after installation???

Thanks for all the info. The knife is on it's way to its new owner, a member of your forum here.

One reason I hung on to that 105LL is because ya don't see to many.
Wish I would've scored one of those stacked 119s! With or without the "LLB" logo, that would be cool to have.

GreatScout (kin to Greta Snap?)...pics when ya get your 105, please.

For months and months you were saying "I only collect 110's".
Now, for the first time I have seen, "only collect folders"!!!!

You're armor is getting weak! Give up the fight you yankee imperialist. Fighting is no use. Your brothers are home dating fixed blades while you resist in the jungle of 110!!!
See that your loyalty to 110 is a battle you cannot win...Surrender and know the joy of your fellow Buck brothers that have seen the light and sweet smell of phenolic.

;)

Stacked leather handle on a 119? Never heard of it until today, what a perfect fit. Now I want one, dang it.

The leather spacer 119 was offered by Cabela's about 1990. A second group was made for The Cutlery Shoppe of Boise, ID about 1994/5. I think the second group was limited to 250 pieces. I don't know how many were made for Cabella's. The reason this knife is not listed on my list is because I don't track knives with material variations only because there are just too many to find. If I can get a computer dump from the plant I will begin to track them. My current records list about a hundred material variation knives out of a possible thousand or so. These hundred or so are not on my list yet as you noticed.
