I just obtained a 119 with yellow spacers and I would like to know if it has any special value, or is part of a limited run.

I might also mention here that for the discerning collector there are about 6500 119's "out there" that you might want to find. It seems that the supplier of our red micarta, used for the handle spacers on 119's, ran out of red. He did have yellow micarta handy though...
These 119's are one of my favorite collectible variations in a while. :)

MW740,

This quote is from another thread where we were talking about different "variations" in some of the factory production knives. In case you don't know Joe, he is the Director for Consumer Relation at Buck. We do know that the Yellow Spacers on on both the Centennial 119 as well as the standard 119 without the Centennial Etch. From Joe's comment above, (in my opinion) they are definitely worth hanging on to....

just another example of our vendors taking good care of our collectors out there

CJ,
Many of the collectors are in favor of Buck doing the other 100 series fixed blades with the yellow spacers. Then, we would have a complete set. Can you envision all of us "crazies" buying more of the knives in this series only because of the yellow spacers?
