This is the 120 General(420hc with brass) i got in 2018 or at least thats the date on the box. If the heritage 120 doesn’t get restocked i guess this will just have to do. Not complaining.

I really don’t see D2 being better?

By the numbers the 420is superior to D2 in every category except edge retention and D2 is just average in that.
But i like a balanced steel as in 5 and 6’s and D2 is all that except toughness which if i had to choose on category to be under a 5 it would be that.

I want the 120 General web special but they seem to be out of stock. The D2 Cobolo and aluminum pomel & guard recipe is the attraction. I have a 120 General in cobolo or redwood ( not sure which) with the brass and too nice to carry. JMHO

I have that heritage set. I would like to see some other fixed blades added to it. 124 and 117, for example.
