I looked on e-bay no luck.
Jeff:confused:

I have one of those, yes it is pretty big. I haven't used it or caried it for years though.

thanks Pack Rat. Boy that is a big one.
I don't really know how big they are in hand. Dont have one. And at the looks of that starting bid, I still dont and wont.

That's a new in the box example, that's why it's going for so much. Mine is slightly used, 1/4" chip out of the wood handle under the front bolster from when an old room mate thought it would make a good throwing knife many, many years ago. No box or papers, but I still have the sheath, it's in decent condition. I wouldn't imagine mine would fetch nearly that much. However, if someone really wanted it, they could e-mail me.

I've got three in my collection.:D That ebay example was a rosewood model. I have 2 with black micarta and "swing" style sheathes and a rosewood that I got right before they were discontinued. That price on ebay is high, whew.
Scott

Last fall they were averaging $215.00 to $230.00 on e-Bay for NIB and mint versions. This was before deer season. After the season ended they seemed to drop a bit in price. Of course, as usual the used versions or those without the box and papers command a little less. As mentioned on an earlier posting, if you want it, you gotta pay for it. I wanted mine and had to pay for it. Was I wrong? I dunno, but I have one and she's a beaut! :)

Here's 3 different ones

Now, now, Scott, - I, and maybe a few others know where that bottom one came from with the Idaho tang stamp - but you know as well as I do others are gonna ask questions so you may as well get the answer ready.... :D

That looks like an "anvil" (2002) stamp to me Dan.
Nice pic of some nice tools Scott...
Goose.

Nice:thumbup:  Scott, knives and photos. You can sure see a difference in the grinds and size of the blades in relation to the handles. That two liner just looks so much better to me. Preston

Well Preston, not only does that 2 liner look the best, it is the most comfortable in hand. The stag & cherry is a Harold Klinkhamer, 62/100.

I have seen that name before, but don't know who or what Harold Klinkhamer is. Don't want to hijack this thread, just would like to know. Preston

That would be cool if Buck did 110 scales to match their fixed blades. That black resin stuff (or whatever it is). Or, cocobola (sp?). Or, a fixed in the form of the scales of a 110...birch.

Imagine your set Mr. P., a 55, 112, 110, and 119 (103, 124, 220, 221) all with matched wood. Now, that would be a pic.

HOnk, HOnk...
Goose.

PS, Maybe Gretsnap knows about Klinhamer???

Goose, the pic of my bank account would be something also:D Preston

Thanks for the pic, don't warry about taking over the thread,
I am loving all the info.
Jeff:thumbup: :D

Harold Klinkhamer is a BCCI member and a gun/knife dealer from Delphi, Indiana. He designed two different Buck fixed blade series and Buck built them for him on a special order basis.
A 122/124 from series one is pictured in Scot's post above with the smooth stag and cherry stained hardwood sections. Series two is desert ironwood and smooth stag. Each series is serialized 1 - 100 and is offered with nine models:
102
103
105 partially serrated
116
118
119
120
121 with scaler on spine, like the original 121 Fisherman
122/124 partially serrated, thong hole in pommel

I think both sets are outstanding but, if I had to choose one only to keep, it would be the ironwood set.
