Good evening all. I am a newbie here. I have a question that I stumped a former Buck Rep. with and he suggested posting it here so here goes...About 10+ years ago Buck produced a Stockman 301 that had a SERRATED sheepsfoot blade. I bought one and have never seen another. I am a member of the Buck Collectors Club so I get a new catalog, newsletters, etc. each year but nothing ever about this particular knife. Do any of you know how many were made and why they stopped making them? (I think the model # is 301 i)
On another note: I know the Buck 110 is the ever popular model but personally I feel the design, appearance and function of the Bucklock 531 has it beat. Not only do you not have to fight the tarnishing brass bolsters but the 531 is thin enough to carry in your pocket if desired. Listen up BUCK. I think you need to take another hard look at this knife!! (just my opinion).....
