Buck 301

This Camillus made Buck 301 has the long pull on the clip blade and a short blade swedge (Buck built in CA or ID don't have long pulls, but have nail nicks on all three blades). Your knife also has the model number on the face of the tang - later Camillus style. Schrade also made the Buck 301 (they were the first manufacturer in the 1960's), Schrade's version has a long pull and a long swedge on the clip blade and no model number on the face of the tang. Ps 300BUCKS, who posted eight years ago in this thread up top, has some charts he has made illustrating the differences among all the versions (there are MANY). Perhaps he will stop back by and post one of his charts. Or you could post your pictures in the BUCK sub-forum here and many guys will chip in and give you details. Buck's are always lots of fun to read and decipher. OH
