What do you want to bet it was owned by a guy who had a few unused pocketknives (gifts over the years) in his sock drawer!? "That's a right nice knife, Sally. Thanks! I'll get a lot of good use out of 'er once this ole Buck knife finally wears out."
I've known guys to sharpen a knife on a grinder frequently and they end up looking like that quick! For them the knife didn't get used much, just ground to a nub since they thought that was the right way to sharpen something.
Not sure about this one though. Unless it was given to me don't think I want it.
There's another Buck collector here that has bought several knives like that . That he'll send to me and I'll send on to Leroy to have him refurbish . DM
