How much life left in this one?
I found this for sale and thought you'd guys get a kick out of looking
at the photo's of this one.

Tom, that's a custom modification that I wish I had...It's for cutting new tongue holes in leather belts...

Almost all my belts have crudely bored holes between two holes...they never punch the holes where real men need them... :grumpy:

The best method I've found is to heat up a 18d nail red hot and burn the hole through, then pick the crusty residue away...

I'd pay a pretty penny to get an on-the-fly belt hole cutter like that, I can tell you... ;)

Ok Tom, the break in period has been observed and now you can buy it and start using it hard:p

What do you want to bet it was owned by a guy who had a few unused pocketknives (gifts over the years) in his sock drawer!? "That's a right nice knife, Sally. Thanks! I'll get a lot of good use out of 'er once this ole Buck knife finally wears out." :D

I've known guys to sharpen a knife on a grinder frequently and they end up looking like that quick! For them the knife didn't get used much, just ground to a nub since they thought that was the right way to sharpen something.

Not sure about this one though. Unless it was given to me don't think I want it.

There's another Buck collector here that has bought several knives like that . That he'll send to me and I'll send on to Leroy to have him refurbish . DM
