A whole lot of demand. To my knowledge Buck never made the 307 (all Camillus-made). So they have no tooling for it. None for the blades. None for the frame. None for the scales. Tooling is way expensive.

If my memory is correct and Buck has never made the 307, it would take an awful lot to get one going. It would be like coming up with a whole new knife rather than just a fresh run of an old design.

And since Camillus is gone, wonder if anyone has the tooling to contract them out to????

I could go for a 307 (377???) in the import line if nothing else.

Although embeth, if you really want one, NIB ones are on Ebay frequently, especially since the Camillus auction, a veritable flood gate of NIB ones appeared.
