Buck 309 or Case peanut

I should have stayed over in W&C, don't have a 309 and now I want one in sawn black delrin. :D

I have been carrying case peanuts, when carrying larger knives and it's been a great addition to the EDC for blade options.

Little but rugged 309, dependable, strong, and the elegant slicer that is the peanut...
I'd take a peanut for edc, and maybe a 309 for dirty small work.

Visually I like the peanut especially with chestnut or red bone covers & carbon blades but for actual use I prefer my 309. The Buck slipjoints with their one piece bolster/liner setup are very tough too.

the best thing about case is the buttery-smooth and soft action brought about by carbon steel rubbing against brass, and the modest spring tension. it's a winning formula.
